Personal Statement
My name is Corey Rogness- I am an athlete and a hardworking swimmer. I'm truly dedicated to swimming. I'm an athlete who knows swimming considerably well. My most important accomplishments were being nominated for one of the two leaders for my club team. I have been on Quest Swimming since my last year in middle school.
Knowing that I'm capable of swimming in college makes me more passionate for this sport. What I can offer to a team is the promise to always work hard and never give up. I am the first to arrive at the pool and the last to leave.
When it comes to choosing what school I would like to go to, my options are very big. I mainly am looking at the states of Florida, Arizona, Texas, and South Carolina. but I am very open to going anywhere. I am open minded about colleges and hope to just find a college that fits me best. It doesn't matter about the size and location of the school. if I can receive a good education and swim I will be happy. My top two choices for a major as of right now is either Physical Therapy or General Engineering. However, my major may change over the course of the rest of my high school career.
My realistic athletic goals are to continue playing the sport I love at a high competitive level. Another goal of mine is to make an impact on the team and to be an example to those after me. Knowing at the end of the day that I made a difference and tried my hardest, would keep a smile on my face.
