I was born on December 3, 1998 and will be graduating in 2017. I currently have a 3.8 GPA and

I am scheduled to take the SAT exam in March of this year. I am 5'2" and weigh 120lbs. I primarily play center

field,  but I'm a utility player if needed. I have experience playing catcher, left field, short stop and

second base. I throw right handed and bat right, but I can slap left and run to first base in 2.3 seconds.

I love to steal bases and make catchers cry.

I have many plans for my future. I would love the opportunity to play softball for a college while

earning a degree in criminal justice. It would be a honor for me to represent my school both

athletically as well as academically. After earning my Bachelor's Degree I plan to become a Highway Patrol.

I have been very involved in many activities while in high school.  I earned the Presidential Fitness Award before entering my Freshman year and was well-known for my interest in athletics and one day playing college level softball.  I was the captain of my soccer team and softball team for the past two years, due to my leadership skills.  I have played softball, soccer, basketball, volleyball, and ran track while in high school.  I was on the yearbook committee for two years capturing many memorable moments as a photographer.  I am currently an academic tutor for English and a peer counselor.

I possess many qualities that would make me an asset to your softball team, as well as your college.  I'm hard-working and take my coaches advice as constructive criticism. I strive to do my best at all times and I'm always setting goals to achieve for myself and my team.  I feel I'm a team player and have leadership skills.  I'm self motivated and I want a successful future.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be considered for your team.  I will not disappoint you if given the chance for a try-out.  I'm very excited and I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

MaKenna Boyd
